It seems that Apple’s legal eagles have made a swoop of Amazon’s activities in Germany – as the trademark battle concerning the use of the “App Store” phrase has swept into the heart of Europe, and the fruity company has picked up a semblance of victory in Germany as Amazon will no longer accept new application submissions in that part of the world simply because there are repercussions from Apple from a legal standpoint. There is no word as to whether (or when) Amazon will resume the fight, apart from a rather defiant viewpoint that this will spur Amazon’s crusade against Apple’s claims.
