It wouldn’t be NFL training camp season if we didn’t have Albert Haynesworth conditioning test drama. After sitting out New England Patriots practice on Saturday, speculation soon grew that Albert Haynesworth failed a conditioning test. While he was with the Washington Redskins, he struggled to pass the conditioning tests.

When asked whether or not Albert Haynesworth failed the conditioning tests, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick didn’t give a straight answer.

“There are things we still need to do with Albert for him to be able to get on the practice field,” said Bill Belichick, “and when those things are done, he’ll be out there.”

If Albert Haynesworth doesn’t get in shape enough or doesn’t show dedication, don’t expect Bill Belichick to mess around. The coach would likely just release the defensive lineman.

Everyone knew acquiring Albert Haynesworth was a risky move by the Patriots. So far, it’s not looking like a very good move.
