The St. Louis Rams have added a lot of talent to their wide receiving corps by signing Mike Sims-Walker, formerly of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Though not a huge name, Sims-Walker oozes talent and raw skill. The problem has been his work ethic and his habit of clashing with coaches.
In 2009, Sims-Walker was on fire to close the season. Big things were expected out of him in 2010, however he disappointed — finishing with 43 catches for 562 yards and seven touchdowns.
But now in St. Louis, Sims-Walker finds himself in a great situation. The 26-year-old has a fantastic quarterback in Sam Bradford and the competition around him at wide receiver isn’t very good.
Mike Sims-Walker’s fantasy football outlook for 2011 is very good. He should see many passes coming his way. If he can get along with the coaches and rededicate himself, Sims-Walker is a definite 2011 fantasy football sleeper.
