Chuck certainly isn't resting on its laurels for its fifth and final season. The show is legendary for casting sci-fi and fantasy icons in guest roles (Linda Hamilton, Timothy Dalton, Christopher Lloyd and Scott Bakula being just the tip of the iceberg) and the trend continues.

According to TVLine, The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss will be joing the show as a recurring guest character for season five playing, Gertrude Verbanski, a love interest for Casey (Adam Baldwin).

She's a former spy who now runs Verbanski Corp, the chief rival of Chuck and Sarah's new company. She's ruthless and deadly, yet she also has a weak spot for Casey, her old rival. She has been described as, "Miranda Priestly meets Lara Croft, with a rather wicked sense of humor."
